Halloween Pictures

Halloween 2012 Cash and Chaz dressed up like Superheroes and flew all over Dade City. You might have already seen some photos that were sent out as Happy Halloween Cards, We got together as a family and did some Family Style Pictures then went out Trick or Treating. They still have the capes and use them pretty regularly to fight evil - and each other!

Southwest Vacation

In October we were lucky to get to go to Arizona and Utah for a little Vacation. It was beautiful! We Flew in and out of Phoenix, but rented a car and drove all over. We drove up to Flagstaff which is a little arty town surrounded by pretty landscapes. From there we went to the Petrified Forest, Painted desert, and Monument valley. At Monument Valley we ate at a Navajo restaurant and it was really a highlight of our time there. We were also able to spend a few moments with a Navajo Sand Painter named Nelson Lewis Sr. and learn a little about their culture and symbolism. Please look through the Pictures.

Stanley Wedding

Nicole and Greg Stanley were married on Friday, November 23rd. {Yes! Black Friday) The Ceremony and Celebration were held beach side and the weather was perfect. Everyone I talked to had a great time. Nicole is a beautiful bride and the pictures came out amazing. Take a look :)

Lots of News!

OMG I have been so busy these last few months and have done a rather poor job of updating everyone. I've always loved playing with internet sites and could loose myself for hours in cyberspace. Those days are gone for now. I have so many fun family projects all waiting for my next bit of free time. Anyway, thanks for allowing the rant about all of that!

 Chancey Wedding Album ~~ Joni and Jonathon Chancey allowed me to make an Album of wedding photos. It came out outstanding! If your lucky enough to be friends with these guys ask to see it because the pictures on the computer don't do it justice.

Nicole and Greg ~~ Nicole, Greg, and I went driving around San Antonio and Dade City making engagement photos. It was a lot of fun. We went to the grotto across from the Saint Leo Church, and a dock on Lake Jovita, then Price Park and wrapped up along the railroad just in time for the sunset.

  Zoey and Caleb Walter ~~ Zoey and Caleb's first official photo shoot was at their house. We took over the living room with a bunch of lights and stuff but they didn't miss a beat. Mommy worked really hard to make all the positioning, and smiling, comforting, and clothing changes a piece of cake! Their pictures came out wonderful and they were wonderful to work with. Daddy Chad even let us cool off in the front yard with a custom made fountain! We can't wait til next time!

Easter Photos 2012

Just uploaded the pictures we took last weekend. We barricaded off a small area in the yard and put in a bunny, chickens, ducks, and toddlers! We got some wonderful pictures and everybody had a really good time. Somehow none of the animals or children were injured.

Nancy and Chad's Family Pictures

Had a great time a couple of weeks ago taking pictures with Chad and Nancy and Family. They have wonderful Doggies and as you can see Nancy is pregnant ~ with TWINS! Yay! betcha can't wait to see those pictures!

I want to thank Nancy and Chad both for putting up with the intrusion as I turned the living room into a mini studio. I should apologize to the little, and not so little, doggies too.

I know I am posting this so late. I really need to get better at posting on the blog! Cash didn't take this long growing the moustache :)

Beach Pictures

During the Christmas pictures we got some pretty cool Family pictures of Cash and Chaz. Of course, got a couple of Mommy! Took the opportunity to take some beach theme senior shots of Ashley too.

Fort Desoto Beach Christmas 2011

We spent the morning at Fort Desoto Beach and made Christmas Pictures with our Sandman / Snowman and Tree. The tree has plastic ornaments so it's safe for the bare feet and as usual we left the Sandman as the only evidence we were there. Well that and the photos.

This year we were joined by the Thomas's and the McKendree's and had a lot of fun. At one point the Ranger stopped by and took her own photos of Cash and Chaz, then posed with the Sandman.

Joni and Jonathon's Engagement Photo Session

Had a great time recently with Joni and Jonathon taking their engagement photos. we went to Lakeland but there was a car show in our spot! Anyway, Jonathon saved the day by suggested a park he knew and we got some really good pictures. Let's see, we fed geese, Joni got bit by a wood stork (I have a picture of one in the fine art section - see if you can find it!), hung out in a dirty alley, climbed into an ant infested old boat, walked on a rickety dock... :)

I don't know why more people aren't asking me take their pictures, haha. Don't forget to click the picture below and look at their session.

Hank Clayton & Family

I was remarkably distant from the person I have always regarded as my closest friend in the world. I'm not sure he even knew I held him in such esteem. Recently, he passed away. I feel very fortunate that I was able to spend some quiet moments at his side near the very end. I don't know if my presence was felt by him, but his presence was certainly felt by me. I will miss my friend.

Wow, what a lot of last minute work. Practically pulled an all nighter just modifying the .nef into .dng files then converting to .jpg after finalizing editing.... oh the drudgery :) just kidding I love it.

Better Late than Never - Octoberfest!

Just uploaded the pictures of Cash and Chaz in their Lederhosen. We bought the material at Joann's and Megan's Grandma sewed them for us. We borrowed a hat and stein from Alex at work (Thank you Alex!).

At the beach!!

We had a great time at the beach. Met some friends and even made some new ones. As usual the sandman / snowman had a little attitude, but that made him cool! :)

Hannah and Abigail, my daughters, were a lot of help. I think they even had some fun. Megan saved the day with her sandman taming skills. Everyone chipped in to help build the tree.

We got plenty of looks. Some even thought there was a commercial being shot!

Chaz's Half Birthday / Halloween Party

On October 23rd we celebrated Chaz's half birthday.  The theme was Halloween and everyone dressed up.  We had a lot of fun with family and friends and sure are thankful to all who attended.  We hope you all had a great time.

Of course, I used the excuse to take some pictures! :)
